Chapter 1

In the start of my book Mrs. Solaja is killed by government radicals. She was the wife to a wealthy newpaper writer, and he had just written a contriversial article of the government where they were living in Africa. The two children Sade and Femi are devistated and crowds appear around the scene at the house. The family gets together and decides to get away for a while.

First impression of book

My first impression of the book, The Other Side of Truth, is that it looks like a good book. The cover is of two children somewhere in Africa. I think the book will be about an African war and how the two children's family get involved. The book also looks like a good book because it has won the carnegie award.
